Powwow dances are beautiful expressions of Indigenous spirituality, history and culture. I had the honour of collaborating with Alberta based Dancing Cree ᑕᐣᒋᐣᐠ ᒉᐁ to design three educational posters highlighting the significance of the Traditional, Hoop and Jingle dance. Photographed by Curtis Comeau, I extracted the images and replaced their backgrounds with earth-toned imagery, enhancing the vibrancy of the dancers' regalia colours.
